Flying Kick is a novel concept in the sense that it teaches Kung Fu virtually through regular online sessions. They approached Cub Design to ‘kick-start’ their brand outreach activities by establishing a unique brand identity. They were quite particular about the logo requirement as they didn’t want it to be the typical martial art illustration of human identity, yet not deviating from it either.
We established the perfect middle ground by creating a unit of well-balanced strokes that illustrated the ‘flying kick’. Although Kung Fu means discipline at the core, it widely remains popular as a form of martial arts. Naturally, red and black colours were used to bring out the physical aspect associated with this full-contact sport.
